  • Why can’t you use the Strip Wax Kit on the face?

    Strip wax sticks and grips both the hair and the skin. Body areas like legs and arms have much tougher skin and can handle strip wax without any issues, but the face is too sensitive to wax using this wax. We would recommend using Heire hot wax on the face.
  • Why does the Hot Wax Kit set quickly in the tub?

    Make sure you have melted the wax to the right consistency, if the wax is not fully melted it will set super quick, leaving you less time to carry out your wax. Heire Hot Wax was designed to cool quite quickly, so you don’t apply wax that is too hot.
  • Why is the hair snapping/ breaking during removal?

    Keep the removal as flat to the skin as possible. Ensure you are not removing up into the air, which will lead to hair breakage and possible bruising.
  • Why is there still wax on my leg after removal?

    Not enough pressure being applied when you are rubbing the strip. You should always press the strip firmly, ensuring all wax is removed. If your legs are super cold the wax could stick, again just ensure you always press the strip firmly and remove the strip parallel to the skin.
